— WPC IN CHUR AND THE REGION
Your WPC terrace in and around Chur
Terraces, privacy screens and facades around Chur all face the same conditions: snow and meltwater, strong sun at altitude, and the Föhn in between. WPC, or composite decking, absorbs very little water, needs no painting and does not have to be sanded back each spring.
What we do is narrow the choice down to the composite decking board that actually suits your surface — profile, colour, joist spacing — using the values in that board’s datasheet rather than a general impression. Then we deliver it to Chur, and if you want, our installation service lays it.

What matters for WPC at altitude
Chur sits higher, drier and windier than the Swiss average, and the surface has to live with that. Four points we go through regularly when advising on projects in the region.
-
Colour stability is in the datasheet
More altitude means more UV. How well a board keeps its colour in strong sun differs from board to board — the value is in each board’s datasheet, and we show it to you before you decide.
-
Substructure and joist spacing
Snow sits, melts and freezes again — often several times a season. WPC absorbs very little water, so what decides the outcome is underneath: a ventilated substructure with a fall, so meltwater leaves rather than sits, and a joist spacing that matches the values in the board’s datasheet.
-
Temperature swings within hours
The Föhn can lift the temperature sharply and dry a surface out completely. Materials move when that happens. Expansion gaps and fixings are not a detail here — they are what stops a correctly chosen board from being wrongly laid.

Personal advice for your project
Whether it is delivery to your address, the quantity or the right board for your surface: contact us and we go through these points with you — by phone or in writing, before you order anything.
— Delivery & installation
Delivery to Chur, planned properly
The quantity is calculated before anything is loaded, special lengths are cut into the same order, and the delivery arrives complete on an agreed date. You are not waiting on a second van for the four boards that were missed. For a project in Graubünden that is what planned properly means: one delivery, complete, on the day agreed.
Advice down to the joist spacing
Most of what a consultation has to settle — substructure, fall, use, quantity, profile — we work through with you against the values in the board’s datasheet. Colour is the exception: the free sample box settles it in daylight, on the surface the boards are meant for. On request our installation service then carries out the work — advice, delivery and installation from one company.
