Low-maintenance & durable: How to keep your WPC products looking like new for years

Care. In this article, we show you how to keep your deckingprivacy screens and façades in top condition for years to come.

1. Regular cleaning – simple but effective
Dust, pollen and organic residues can best be removed with a broom or a soft scrub brush and water. For heavier dirt, use a neutral cleaner without harsh chemicals.

Tip: Use a pressure washer only with sufficient distance and low pressure (max. 100 bar, at least 30 cm away).

2. Seasonal check – spring and autumn
It’s worth doing a quick condition check twice a year: Are there deposits in the joints? Is the drainage clear? Are the edge profiles and fixings working properly? Small measures at the start of the season prevent later damage.

3. Treat stains properly
Grease, rust or drink stains should be removed as quickly as possible with warm water and mild soapy solution. For stubborn discolouration, a special WPC cleaner can help.

4. Avoid mechanical overload
Avoid dragging heavy objects like furniture across the boards. Use felt pads or wheels with rubber coating to protect the surface.

Conclusion:
With minimal maintenance effort, your WPC surface will remain attractive and functional for many years. Our materials are designed for longevity — and with a little care, they will look like new in the long term.
