What a surface costs after it’s built
The specification decision is made once; the maintenance decision is made every year for the next few decades. That is the calculation that decides most commercial projects — not the square-metre price. WPC needs no painting and no oiling: cleaning is water, a brush and a standard cleaner — done by the facility team, without scaffolding, without a contractor and without taking the area out of service. Wood can look excellent and has its place, but it comes with a maintenance cycle that has to be budgeted, scheduled and repeated. For a hotel courtyard, a housing scheme’s access decks or a commercial facade, that difference compounds over the life of the building.
Every product carries its own attributes, and they differ across the three lines: WPC Terrassen, WPC Sichtschutz and WPC Fassaden. A facade is specified on different values than a deck, and a screen on different values again.
