Hard-wearing, easy-to-clean composite decking for restaurant and café terraces, pergolas and outdoor seating — low-maintenance through the season and dimensionally stable over years. Delivered from our Swiss warehouse in Aadorf, with expert advice from your WPC specialist.
— THE RIGHT BOARD
A restaurant terrace works all day. Lunch service, afternoon coffee, evening guests — chairs moved and re-set at every turn, food and drinks handled over the surface, and staff crossing it with full trays whatever the weather. Composite decking for restaurants has to match that reality: the right board is the one whose surface, grip and load span fit how your terrace is actually used — and that’s the conversation we have with you.
Compared with wood, WPC is lower-maintenance in daily service: no oiling, cleaning with water and a standard cleaner, dimensionally stable in wet-dry cycles. Wood needs regular treatment to keep its appearance and greys over time without it. Both are legitimate choices — WPC shifts the effort from annual upkeep to the initial selection. We’ll walk you through the comparison for your terrace.
— WHY WPC IN RESTAURANT USE
A restaurant terrace is a workplace and a guest space at the same time. It has to survive daily service and still look cared-for when the first guests sit down at noon. WPC covers both — with low upkeep and a surface that stays even over years.
Rain, spilled drinks, a terrace crossed all evening by staff with full trays. Grip is set by the individual board and its surface, not by WPC as a material — we’ll match it to how your terrace is actually used.
No oiling, no sealing. Grease, wine and coffee come off with water and standard cleaning agents — so the terrace can be turned around between services rather than closed for treatment.
Chair legs scrape and table feet concentrate weight. Joist spacing and load span decide the substructure, and they differ from board to board — we plan that with you before anything is ordered.
Project-specific quantities and custom lengths mean fewer joints across a seating area. Delivery windows are planned around your season — so the work lands between seasons, not during one.
— USE IN RESTAURANT & CAFÉ SETTINGS
Restaurant terraces change character through the day — lunch, afternoon coffee, evening service. One consistent material across the terrace, the screening and the transitions gives the whole outdoor area a calm, deliberate look, and gives you one supplier for all of it.
From architecture practice to private build — we supply not just material, but the basis for a smooth job.
Data sheets, product descriptions and technical documents available directly.
Project-based quantity calculation and custom lengths, available on a project basis — for continuous surfaces without unnecessary joints.
Delivery straight from our Swiss warehouse, matched to your schedule.
From sampling to delivery coordination, one person stays with your project — not a call centre.
We go through area, use and look — by phone or on site.

— TERRACE RENEWAL
An old terrace rarely fails all at once. Boards grey unevenly, the surface under the busiest tables wears faster than the rest, and each season the sanding and re-treating takes a few more days than the last. At some point the upkeep costs more closed days than a replacement would. And that is what makes it a scheduling question before it is a material one: every day the terrace is shut is a day of seating you don’t sell. The usable window is the closed season — so the decision, the samples, the quantity and the delivery date want to be settled months before the first old board comes up.
That’s the part we take on. As a Swiss specialist dealer for WPC, we don’t only supply the boards: we look at the existing substructure with you, work out which board fits the way your terrace is actually used, calculate quantities and custom lengths for the surface, and place the delivery in the window you can work in. One contact person from the first sample box to the last pallet, delivered from our warehouse in Aadorf — and if you’d like the installation handled as well, our installation service takes that on too.
Send us the outline of your project — we’ll put together an individual quote, matched to product, area and timeframe.
Water, a soft brush and a standard cleaning agent are enough for everyday soiling. Grease and wine are easiest removed while fresh. No oiling or sealing is needed. Cleaning tolerances — including whether a pressure washer may be used — differ from board to board, so ask us for the guidance for your specific board before the first deep clean.
Between seasons. Replacing an operating terrace costs you seating days, so the useful window is the closed period. Come to us early enough to reserve quantities and custom lengths for that window — delivery from our Aadorf warehouse is planned around your date, and you can estimate quantities with our project calculator
Yes — screening and wind protection are available in matching WPC, so the terrace, the boundary to the pavement and the partitions between tables read as one surface. See the WPC privacy screening range
Slip resistance isn’t a property of WPC in general — it depends on the individual board and its surface finish. For a terrace that staff cross with trays in all weather, tell us how the area is used and we will recommend a board on that basis, together with the available classification for it.
WPC, in day-to-day terms: no oiling, no sealing, cleaning with water and standard agents. Wood needs regular treatment to keep its appearance and greys without it. The trade-off is that wood can be sanded and re-treated, while WPC is chosen once and stays as selected.
